zits
Skin rash and acne are both very common and emotionally damaging. The sad part is that they are not so easily treated thus undeniably creating fear, low self-esteem especially to teenagers who are just starting to explore what the world has to offer them. Teens are the ready targets for acne and zits because their rapidly changing hormones trigger an overproduction of sebum. They have to understand that most acne, pimples (zits), blackheads and skin eruptions are caused by bacterial infection in their skin oil glands. It is often due to the overproduction of oils during a hormonal imbalance that produces such skin problems.

Zits are commonly caused by normal hormonal fluctuations in the body. They are not found on the face, they are most common in body areas like back, scalp and neck. Evidently, they make you uncomfortable as they sometimes hurt but if you don’t let them disappear on their own, they tend to end up with scars. You are sometimes tempted to popping, picking at or drying out obviously appearing zits only to make them more irritating that makes things worse and can cause even more to sprout out. The first thing you do as pimples appear is to pop them only to leave permanent scars. It is however the scars that you wanted to prevent, so it is important that you never pop or squeeze pimples yourself.

No matter how many nasty zits you pop, they tend to keep coming back. Since appearance is important to individuals, they easily think of medicines for their zits to be gone in the shortest time possible. They immediately think that they need some penetrating bacteriacide. However, some of these bacteriacide tend to be causing more and even get worst skin problem than they must be curing you.

Unfortunately, there are lots of myths about what are the reasons behind why pimples pop up. Despite your friends and mom say that chocolates, pizza or French fries causes the pimples to pop up, you have to know that you don’t just get pimples from what you eat, unless you are allergic to something and then you get hives not really zits. Actually, you do not get zits because you eat greasy food or too many sweets or because of poor hygiene alone. As individuals tend to assume on many probable causes of their zits and acne, it is still best that you ask your dermatologist about your skin condition and clearly your doctor will let you understand what are its probable causes and the preventive measures that you could do to prevent you from getting more of your zits and other acne related problems although not to totally get rid of them.

Moreover, persistent acne consisting of 4 or more zits at one time along with redness, discomfort and slow healing cycles, requires checking out by a skin doctor. You have to let your dermatologist do the proper technique as they have the sterile instruments used for the popping. The doctor can give you preventive measures and medicines concerning your zits and acne and eventually you will grow out of them. Most importantly, zits do not make you ugly or gross and everyone gets zits so you don’t have to be ashamed or have fear or even have low self-esteem just because you have acne or zits. The distressing truth is that zits and acne will persist well into adulthood so you better get used to them from the start they appear on your skin.

acne treatment
Acne is a very common skin infection caused by excessive sebaceous gland secretion. Acne usually appears on the face, back, chest and shoulders. It is commonly seen in teenagers and adults. Acne is believed to be caused by the hormonal imbalance and toxins within the body. Acne can cause scars on the skin and make the skin sensitive and painful. The most effective acne treatment is that which offers long lasting results without any side effects. There are two types of acne treatments available and they are nonprescription acne treatment and prescription acne treatment.

Nonprescription acne treatments are mainly used for the treatment of mild types of acnes. This treatment is the best solution for reducing sebum production, killing bacteria and removing dead cells from the skin. Nonprescription acne medications include antibacterials, benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, and alpha-hydroxy acids. Prescription acne treatments are used for the treatment of inflammatory acnes.

The common prescribed acne medications include retinoids, topical antibiotics, oral antibiotics, and accutane. Several natural acne treatments are also used to remove acne and the scars it causes, and are considered to be the most effective acne treatment by many people. Drinking at least eight glasses of water daily, avoiding stress, and proper exercise will ensure a healthy, toxin free body which is necessary for clear skin.

A diet that is rich in natural minerals helps to maintain the health of the skin cells and avoid the occurrence of acne. Proper diet and skin care is the basis of the most effective acne treatment Avoiding food with high fat content can considerably reduce the risk of acne. By avoiding diary products, fatty foods, processed foods, sugar, alcohol, and tobacco you can remove toxins from your body. A variety of advanced treatments exist. Depending upon whether the acne is mild, moderate or severe, you have to try different applications to find the one suitable for you.

But before you go thinking that you can get clear skin but just hoping for it, let me correct you. For you to get clear skin it is going to take dedication and a commitment to a routine, and once you have that clear skin will be the next thing to follow. Because acne is a condition, if you fall out of your routine and get back into your hold habits, then the acne will come back, and sometimes even stronger. Commitment and dedication, you can accomplish almost anything.
