Stacy B asked:

I am in my cousin’s wedding on June 2 of this year so less than two months and its a strapless dress. I need a good and fast cure. If anyone knows a good product let me know. I don’t want to fool around with a dermatologist because i dont have that kind of money so if anyone could help me to get rid of my acne on my back and chest that would be great..Thanks! God Bless!

Good ole soap and water - try to reduce the amount of oil left on your skin that clogs pores - you might even want to over soap it so your skin dries out - that usually helps clear it up.

Get some sun! Even if you still have some left, having some color (tan) in your skin can reduce the visibility of many blemishes.

Hope that helps!

Hmm unfortunately there really is no fast cure for acne, it is one of those ugly little facts of life. The best I could tell you is to try either Proactive or Clearasil. They seem to work the best. Or if you don’t have that kind of time and money you can just put some makeup over it to make it less noticeable.

Also Ibuprofen or advil(which contains Ibuprofen) should decrease the swelling and redness of the pimples. Just don’t drink too much if you take that or you’ll get sick.

A good cleanser is Cetaphil and you can buy it at Wal-Mart, target or a local drug store like Walgreens. You can get it in a bar of soap, toner, pump…etc. it will probably run you abour $8.00-15.00. It works great. I worked in a Dermatology office and would give it to patients

I used to take large amounts of zinc tablets when I was going thru acne. It worked really well for me back then. It seemed like I took 4 tablets a day or so. Not sure of the doseage. Good luck.

Try proactive body wash! I use the face stuff and it helped me so much. I understand about not wanting to go to a Dr. that was why I tried proactive I couldn’t afford the Dr. visit.

Good Luck!!

Go to DefenseSoap.com. They have a soap that helped a friend of mine. The site was developed for wrestlers so don’t think you are in the wrong place. If you place an order of $15.00 or more and type sun tan in the comments box you receive a free gift. Give it a try.
